All You Need...

As often happens, there are blog posts I have brewing in my head, but I'm having a hard time translating the thoughts to actual written material (read: procrastination).  Today I set aside some time to get my act together with one of my other volunteer efforts - treasurer of the high school band - and I flipped on a movie to keep me focused.  It's backwards I know - but for me something nice playing in the background keeps me moving forward.

I had come across the movie "We Bought a Zoo" the other night on TV and decided to watch it without commercial interruption on iTunes.  It's schmaltzy, no doubt about it, but it has a lot of my favorite actors and lots of cute animals - what's not to love?  Towards the end of the movie, when the dad and son finally make a meaningful connection, the dad has the best line ever:
